Quiet Control ("we", "us") operates a Pomodoro-based focus timer web application at quietcontrol.eu. By using our service, you agree to these terms.
You can use the timer without an account. Signing in with Google enables cloud sync and additional features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
The service offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro features include cloud sync, custom durations, categories, detailed analytics, session notes, weekly reports, and CSV export. We reserve the right to modify features and pricing with reasonable notice.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly ($9.99/month) or annually ($89/year) through Stripe. New Pro subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. You can cancel at any time through your Profile & settings page.
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the application, or use automated tools to interact with the service in an abusive manner.
Your session data, categories, and notes belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. You can export your data as CSV at any time (Pro feature) or delete your account and data from Profile & settings.
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The timer works offline via PWA and local storage, so your data is not lost during outages.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Quiet Control is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
When you sign in with Google, we store your name, email address, and profile picture for account identification. When you use the timer, we store your session data (date, duration, category, notes) to provide analytics and sync features.
Your data is stored on Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. Free users' data is stored locally in the browser. Pro users' data is synced to the cloud for cross-device access.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile & settings. Local data can be cleared by clearing your browser data.
We use essential cookies for authentication and local storage for preferences and session data. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
All Pro subscriptions start with a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. You can cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be billed.
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through Profile & settings > Manage subscription. After cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
If you're not satisfied with Pro, we offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment (after the trial ends). Contact us at support@quietcontrol.eu with your account email and we'll process the refund within 5 business days.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Stripe. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
